10 Celebrities Most Likely To Play A Superhero In The Near Furture

We are in an age of superheroes, and it seems like everyone who is anyone has played the role. But which actors really look the part and have the personality to leap tall buildings in a single bound? Some of the biggest actors in Hollywood have played superheroes. But which actors were likely to play the part from a young age?

10 Celebrities Most Likely To Play A Superhero In The Near Furture

10. Dave Franco

10. Dave Franco

A string of high-profile TV work followed interspersed with appearances in some moderately successful movies, and he came to international prominence when he appeared as Eric Molson in the hit movie version of the cult TV series 21 Jump Street (2012).

Both Dave and his brother, James Franco, have played famous comic book characters from opposing companies. James played "Harry Osborn", best friend of Marvel Comics' "Peter Parker/Spider-man" and son of his arch nemesis, "The Green Goblin", in Sam Raimi's film trilogy.

9. Blake Lively

9. Blake Lively

Blake Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, has already played a superhero, and it seems like the role would be a natural for her. Like the other actors in this list, she also has a personality that seems sweet, but deep down you wouldn't want to be a villain fighting her.

8. Liam Hemsworth

8. Liam Hemsworth

The actor has the genes to play a superhero, literally. His brother Chris may be better known as Thor in the recent films. Liam Hemsworth is currently starring in The Hunger Games films, and while he never dons a cape, he works to protect the woman he loves. He has that hot, brooding air about him that makes him completely believable as a superhero.

7. Naomie Harris

7. Naomie Harris

To date, she is best known to American audiences for her role as Tia Dalma in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) and further international attention came her way when she was cast as Field Agent Eve in the twenty third James Bond film, Skyfall (2012). Naomie has all the features to be a female superhero.

6. Ryan Gosling

6. Ryan Gosling

Gosling would make a perfect Cyclops for an X-men reboot because he is in his prime, good looking and has everything you would want in a leader. Like the others, Ryan Gosling also has the adorable personality and hot physique it takes to make fighting crime in a cape and cowl seem realistic and believable.

Ten Most Popular Superhero Movies Of Our Time

A Superhero is a kind of imaginative character with ultra-extraordinary and superhuman powers and his life totally dedicated to save "Human Race". We have seen some fascinating superhero movies in recent years.  This is mainly due to improved CGI technology with incredible creative thoughts and it has given a whole new dimension to "Motion Picture". With mesmerizing action sequences, beautiful screenplay and brilliant CGI work have really attracted a mass audience who wants Out-Of-This-World kind of movies. Let's List out the top Ten best superhero movies in their respect franchise.

10. The Incredible Hulk (2008)

***A Monstrously Entertaining Movie***

"You'll Like Him When He's Angry"

"Tony Stark: What if I told you we're putting a team together?

Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross: Who's "we"?"

The Incredible Hulk took the liberty of summarizing the establishment of the character in the opening credits but mostly assumed we all know how it all began and puts you right into the action. The story in The Incredible Hulk is simplistic and it's all about two hours of The Hulk smashing stuff and that is wicked cool. I just about giggled and clapped when the Hulk actually exclaims "HULK SMASH" in one of his rage filled riots. The Incredible Hulk is the perfect summer blockbuster and is already racing to the top of the charts which is good because it is a worthy super hero action flick that anyone should see.

9. Thor (2011)

 ***An Immensely Enjoyable Marvel Movie***

"The god of thunder. The king of Asgard. The god of mischief. The guardian of worlds. The goddess of war. The woman of science."

"Once mankind accepted a simple truth; that they were not alone in this universe. Some worlds man believed home to their Gods. Others they new to fear. From around the cold and darkness came the Frost Giants. Threatening to plunge the mortal world into a new ice age. But humanity would not face this threat alone."

In the pantheon of Marvel Superheroes, from my vantage point, Thor is a second-tier player. Even amongst non-obsessive comic aficionados, such as myself, Thor doesn't quite have the readership draw or the common familiarity in the public that heroes such as Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, etc., have. However, that doesn't mean that Marvel Studios, the film making wing of the company, feel inclined to give the filmic adaptation of Thor short shrift. The cinematic entry for this character, titled simply Thor, is among the better of the Marvel adaptations of recent years, mixing a good sense of fun, strong acting, and some Shakespearean level drama that makes for an especially entertaining time at the movies.

Once again, Marvel has managed to take one of their lesser known heroes and make them the subject of an entertaining film version, with energy and depth that is a bit unexpected. May they keep on making comic book films of this caliber.

8. Superman (1978)

***The Ultimate Superhero Movie***

"The movie that makes a legend come to life."

"Some people can read War and Peace and come away thinking it's a simple adventure story. Others can read the ingredients on a chewing gum wrapper and unlock the secrets of the universe."

"Superman: The Movie," Say those to anyone and they'll most likely say "Oh, I love that movie!" Superman is packed with drama, action, romance, great special effects. Christopher Reeve is truly the one and only Superman and always will be to me. Margot Kidder is a fantastic Lois Lane, witty yet beautiful, she is great! Gene Hackman is hilarious as Lex Luthor along with his henchman and henchwoman played by Ned Beatty and Valerie Perrenie.

7. Spider-Man (2002)

***A Great Comic-book Adaptation***

"With great power comes great responsibility."

"If somebody told you I was just your average guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied."

"Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody said it was a happy little tale... if somebody told you I was just your average ordinary guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied."

Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" is a fascinating and entertaining work of superhero fiction, collectively doing Marvel and all of its actors justice by blessing them with good material, a straight-shooting script, and action sequences that don't fail to impress. The kinetics and craft of it all are through the roof, and the twenty-five+ years the picture spent in development clearly was for the best. The film spends the first hour or so getting us acquainted with the man behind the mask, much like the original Marvel comics. We see Parker as a human, not an action figure, occupying a mask of uniqueness and power. The film shows the geek in the beginning, sympathetically, and then goes on to showcase him powerfully, where he is a placed in a role of certainty and bravery.

It's a good film which is definitely worth watching!

6. Watchmen (2009)

***Compelling, Outstanding And Fascinating Graphical Novel***

"Who will save us now?"

"Why would I save a world I no longer have any stake in?"

"You haven't idealized mankind, you've...you've deformed it! You mutilated it. That's your legacy. That's the real practical joke."

"Watchmen" turned out to be an engrossing film, one definitely worth seeing. I have to say, I wasn't enthusiastic about watching it at first. It's based on the great graphic novel by Alan Moore. It's widely considered to be the best graphic novel ever. Films adapted form great literary works usually don't turn out well. The film also didn't have a big budget. More money was thrown at making Iron Man (2008) and The Dark Knight (2008), for example. This doesn't matter though because Watchmen surpasses all comic book films in terms of professionalism. Zack Snyder is a good action director. Just watch 300 (2007) for proof. With Watchmen he demonstrated that he is just a good director overall. He works well with actors. The acting in the film is almost universally excellent. Everyone gets to shine.

Watchmen was expertly made, there is a lot to like about it. I respect it and I like it more than any other superhero motion picture. It gets a high recommendation from me.

5. X-Men: First Class (2011)

***Superb! Rock-Solid Script And A Great Prequel***

"Before he was Professor X, he was Charles. Before he was Magneto, he was Erik. Before they were enemies, they were allies."

"Their powers would make them different. But destiny would make them allies."

Professor Charles Xavier: "I suppose I am a professor now. Pretty soon I'll be going bald."

"X-Men: First Class"  is an excellent prequel to the original "X-Men" trilogy and by far the best "X-Men" movie from "X-Men" franchise. It has a compelling storyline chronicling the adventures of Professor X and Magneto, or should I say, Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr before they became enemies, as depicted in the three movies that form the original "X-Men" trilogy. Not only a compelling storyline, but "First Class" also promises amazing sequences of intense action

"X-Men: First Class" is truly first class entertainment.

4. The Incredibles (2004)

***The Best Action Animated Movie Ever***

"Save The Day."

"What are you talking about? You are Elastigirl! My God! Pull yourself together! What will you do?Is...is...is this a question? You will show him that you remember that he is Mr. Incredible! And you will REMIND him, who YOU are! Well, you know where he is... Go! Confront the problem! Fight! Win! And call me when you get back, dahling, I enjoy our visits."

No matter how many times you save the world, it always manages to get back in jeopardy again! Sometimes I just want it to stay saved, you know? For a little bit. I feel like the maid: "I just cleaned up this mess! Can we keep it clean for, for ten minutes?! Please?! "

"The Incredibles" is a great action movie with strong characters and each Character possesses unique , incredible powers. One of the greatest things about The Incredibles is that it's not a kiddies film; it's completely different to all the other Pixar films. They bring out Tommy guns in the second scene, for crying out loud! If you want to see a more adult animated film, then go see The Incredibles, and enjoy every minute. But I wouldn't bring someone younger than 4 maybe, because it isn't really aimed at them, and they probably would find it quite scary.

3. Iron Man (2008)

***A Supreme Comic-book Entertainment***

"Heroes aren't born. They're built."

" I had my eyes opened. I came to realize that I had more to offer this world than just making things that blow up. And that is why, effective immediately, I am shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of Stark Industries."

"Iron Man" is about as close to perfect popcorn entertainment. Most Superhero comic book movies seem to share a problem in tone. Most films try to cope with wild concepts by emphasizing darkness, even over-emphasizing it. Troubled, brooding characters, black leather and anger rule the day. Here, Iron Man's creators mix everything so well. It leans away from dark but touches on it just enough. Maybe it's the character or maybe it's because they had Downey's talents to play with but Downey's performance leads to more clever banter and genuinely real dialogue than most comic-book movies have ever delivered. So much of the humor works because of this and all the dramatic beats really click. Downey's Stark is glib and even obnoxious at times but he never loses his likability and grows in to something more. That's true character establishment and development in a comic book film, people. Even the flirtation between Stark and his assistant has the undertow of lonely romantic longing and implications. What's also rare for any popcorn movie is that every death carries real emotional weight.

The CG is perfect and the action is intense and very well done. That's no shocker. What was a pleasant surprise was that Iron Man is a complete movie.

2. The Avengers (2012)

***A Flat Out Exceptional Movie Ever***

"And there came a day… a day unlike any other… when Earth’s mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat… to fight the foes no single superhero could withstand… on that day, The Avengers were born."

"Tony Stark: No offence, but I don’t play well with others.
Steve Rogers: Big man, in a suit of armour… take that away, what are you?
Tony Stark: Uh… genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist"

"The Avengers" movie must be a dream come true to everyone. Seeing these superheroes uniting together to save the world in the big screen. While the heroes' stand alone films doesn't have that enough action, this movie executes more of their super abilities. It's really fun and exciting. A lot of people will cheer to their favorite superheroes. This is what all fans and moviegoers want in Avengers. More fighting, more explosions, more smashing, and more fun. In the end, you will crave for more because of its awesomeness. The Avengers is simply marvelous.

The certain scenes are funny and entertaining. It's more entertaining when there's Robert Downey Jr. stealing the show. Of course, he will always be like this. His chemistry with Bruce Banner is wonderful. Two geniuses working together. Other than that, the rest of the performances were also good. Chris Hemsworth is just mighty enough as Thor and Chris Evans is cool enough as Captain America. Scarlett Johansson is probably the weak link here. She's still sexy though.

1. The Dark Knight (2008)

***The Greatest Superhero Movie Ever Made***

"Out of the darkness...comes the Knight."

"The night is darkest before the dawn."

"Sometimes, the truth isn’t good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded."

" You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I can do those things. Because I'm not a hero, not like Dent. I killed those people. That's what I can be."

"The Dark Knight" movie just blew me away. Christian Bale is a natural as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Michael Caine fits the part of Alfred, the trusted butler. Heath Ledger's performance as the sadistic Joker was absolutely disturbing and scary yet simply amazing.

I would not want to meet the Joker in a dark alley, and whatever you do, don't ask him how he got his smile, especially, when he has a knife in his hand. Ledger's performance has turned the Joker into a new iconic movie villain image. Between all the punches, mayhem, and explosions, there is some good sinister dialog. The movie not only has a lot of action, it also tells the story of the internal struggle that Bruce Wayne is having with being the Batman hero. Bruce Wayne wants to be himself and maintain the difference between himself and Batman. Bruce must decide to follow the code or do what has to be done without affecting his own morals.

The movie explores the literary themes of Hero verses Villain, as well as Order verses Anarchy, and the Joker explains to Batman that to have one you must have the other, and because of that, they will always be connected. The movie is long, but it went by so fast. You will love the last 45 minutes, because of the non-stop action with Batman in his new sonic suit and his BatPod. Without any doubts, by far the best "Batman Movie" till date.
