To date, she is best known to American audiences for her role as Tia Dalma in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) and further international attention came her way when she was cast as Field Agent Eve in the twenty third James Bond film, Skyfall (2012). Naomie has all the features to be a female superhero.

Gosling would make a perfect Cyclops for an X-men reboot because he is in his prime, good looking and has everything you would want in a leader. Jolie is nothing special, but I fear that the majority of people who want to see this movie are only interested in one scene, I must warn you, every ten seconds or so the scene cuts to Jack Palance looking moody.

9. Hackers (1995)

***A Coolest Cyber Film And Angelina Shines***

Hackers is a movie about a group of friends who are framed for setting up an oil tanker to spill over into the ocean, which is owned by a company that employs Eugene Belford or `The Plague' played by Fisher Stevens. Eugene has framed the group of hackers to throw off the powers that be to his illegal embezzling of his company's money. Angelina Jolie stole the show as she often does. Looking like a cyber-elf straight out of Shadowrun, she's sexy in a way most actresses these days can't manage.

The cast is fresh, the visuals and costumes striking and the score replete with catchy techno-hooks that add just the right flavor. It's the kind of movie that sucks you right into it's fantasy world and washes over you like an energy wave. It's not perfect so just forget the mistakes, and you will enjoy this one! Besides, Angelina Jolie is in it!

8. Gone In Sixty Seconds (2000)

***Totally Hot, Racey And Fantastic Action Film***

Memphis has been set a challenge, he must steal fifty cars in one night otherwise local gangster Calitri will kill Memphis's brother, Kip. So Memphis must re-connect with his old crew to do the impossible. Nicholas Cage is brilliant as the older brother trying to help his younger brother; Angelina sizzles on screen as the sexy Sway; the rest of the cast provides satisfactory performances but it's great to see British veteran Eccelstone opposite Cage; his Calitri is very menacing. 

If you want to enjoy a film including amazing cars, an interesting and innovative plot and obviously if u want to see the beautiful Angelina Jolie, this is the film for you. The film gives you an interesting view into the life of modern and old school car thief's. The film always keeps you excited and might have some twists. 

7. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003)

***You'd Love It If You Are Angelina Jolie's Fan***

"Lara Croft: Nature is about balance. All the world comes in pairs. Yin and Yang. Right and Wrong. Men and Women. What's pleasure without pain." 

Angelina Jolie returns as Lara Croft, a sexy adventurer that you should not mess around with. She joins former colleague Terry to find the Pandora's Box, a box of legend. But first, they have to get the orb that will guide them to the box from Jonathan Reiss, a scientist who wants to use the contents of the box to create incurable, devastating diseases.

The cast is top notch. Gerard Butler has chemistry with Angelina but his accent is a bit too thick in some parts to understand. Cirian Hinds is a dignified enough villain. Djimon Honsu is good in an real authentic looking African role. The film has plenty of action to satisfy an audience that wants to see a clear story, exciting stunts, beautiful and exotic locales, and one heroine that kicks. 

6. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004)

***An Engaging Sci-fi Fantasy With Brilliant Visual And Audio Work***

"Capt. Francesca 'Franky' Cook: What have you gotten me into this time, Joseph? 

Joe 'Sky Captain' Sullivan: Nothing you can't handle, Franky."

Famous scientists around the world have mysteriously disappeared and Chronicle reporter Polly Perkins (Gwyneth Paltrow) along with ace aviator Sky Captain (Jude Law) are on the investigation. Risking their lives as they travel to exotic places around the world, can the fearless duo stop Dr. Totenkopf, the evil mastermind behind a plot to destroy the earth? Aided by Franky Cook (Angelina Jolie), commander of an all-female amphibious squadron, and technical genius Dex (Giovanni Ribisi), Polly and Sky Captain may be our planet's only hope.

The acting on some fronts left a lot to be desired, and Angelina Jolie and Giovanni Ribisi were exquisite. Jude Law carried the lead role pretty well. You will need a large screen to take this landmark, visually stunning piece in - maybe even several times over.

5. The Tourist (2010)

***A Gorgeous, Visually Stunning And An Enjoyable Ride***

"The Tourist" stars Angelina Jolie(Elise) and Johnny Depp(Frank).Elise (Angelina Jolie) randomly sits next to an American tourist, Frank (Johnny Depp), on a train going to Venice. The police has been following Elise for two years waiting for her to contact her lover who embezzled over $2 Billion. Not only will they need to evade the police, but also the mobster whose money he stole.

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp do an excellent job playing their characters. The one liners are also enjoyable and the whole film is stylish, in a great setting and smooth. The Tourist may not be an action packed blockbuster however it was entertaining and enjoyable to see Jolie and Depp step out of their comfort zone with respect to acting, and do very well in the other area.

4. Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)

***A Great Couple Delivered A Full Action Packed Film***

"Jane Smith: Still alive...baby?"

John and Jane Smith (Pitt and Jolie, of course) are a happy married couple. After five or six years of marriage, they've gotten pretty bored with everything as they've built a marriage of lies, having the space between them build up to whatever they don't say to each other. We join them in a hilarious marriage counseling session at the film's opening act. However behind this marriage of silence and lies consists of both of them hiding their true identities of being the top assassins of their secret organizations. When both are after the same target , they get into each other's cross hairs and decide to take each other out. 

This film was a joy to watch! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's chemistry were magic. It was delightful to see them exercise their comedic skills. And then, to add Vince Vaughn to the mix was the frosting on the cake! The film's pacing was lightning fast, as needed for the broad farce it was meant to be. I've seen a lot of spy flicks and Mr. And Mrs. Smith is as crazy as it gets.

3. Evelyn Salt - Salt (2010)

***Popcorn Entertainment Nothing More Nothing Less***

"Evelyn Salt: What is your name?

Vassily Orlov: My name is Vassily Orlov. Today, a Russian agent will travel to New York city to kill the President. This agent is KA-12.

Evelyn Salt: The KA program is a myth.

Vassily Orlov: Don't you want to know the name?

Evelyn Salt: You're good. You can tell the rest of your story to one of my colleagues.

Vassily Orlov: Salt.

Evelyn Salt: Yes?

Vassily Orlov: The name of the agent is Evelyn Salt.

Evelyn Salt: My name is Evelyn Salt.

Vassily Orlov: Then you are a Russian spy."

The story told in the movie is fast-paced and full of action right from the very beginning, and there are some really nice twists and turns of events along the way. The story deals with Russian agents trained to infiltrate and sabotage USA, which seemed fairly nice enough. And we follow Evenlyn Salt as the main character.

The Plot is nothing special, but it works for the moment, Jolie and the other actors like Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Hunt Block and the other actors does a good job with their performances. Would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Do yourself a favor and base your judgement off the movie itself instead of the reviews because if you don't see it you will regret it!

2. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)

***An Absolutely Smashing Action Packed Film***

"Lara Croft: Oh... very funny. 

Hilary: I'm only trying to turn you into a lady. 

Lara Croft: Mm... 

Hilary: And a lady should be modest. 

Lara Croft: Yes, a *lady* should be modest."

Every 5,000 years the planets in our solar system go into a planetary alignment. The night this alignment begins Lara finds a clock that has begun to count down. She now must finish her father's work and find the Triangle of Light. She is in a race against time to beat the Illuminati, a secret society, to this artifact that has the ability to control time and space.

The film is flashy and entertaining on a very simplistic level - just like the video game it is based upon. Angelina Jolie was the best possible Lara Croft. If you're looking for action, Tomb Raider has a great deal. Whether its in a very nice looking mansion or in an ancient temple in Cambodia. All the action scenes are well done and are not tiresome. The Visual Effects are mostly good. The cinematography is also beautiful in Cambodia.

1. Wanted (2008)

***Curved Bullet Mystery And A Perfect Entertainment***

"Sloan: Welcome... to the Fraternity. This gun you're holding belonged to your father; he could conduct a symphony orchestra with it."

When his father dies, Wesley Allan Gibson (James McAvoy) comes to find out that his father was a member of an elite group of assassins called The Fraternity. He is recruited by Sloan (Morgan Freeman) and trained by Fox (Angelina Jolie), The Repairman (Marc Warren), The Butcher (Dito Bakhtadze), and Gunsmith (Common) to assassinate his father's killer, Cross, who was once a member of the Fraternity but he betrayed them.

James McAvoy draws the audience in from the very beginning with his expert performance. His chemistry with Jolie is unrivaled in comparison with any on-screen duo in films. Angelina Jolie as Fox was perfect. I had never heard of the actor that played the lead prior to this movie, but I will definitely pay him more attention! I highly enjoyed their acting and the fight scenes were choreographed quite well.

"Wanted" doesn't disappoint and will keep you thoroughly entertained. I highly recommend it!

Audrey Tautou is a french film "Sweetheart" actress who has done around 35 films in her enchanting career. She is well known for her scintillating performance in Amelie (2001), A Very Long Engagement (2004) and Venus Beauty Institute (1999). Audrey Tautou's films can be romantic, groundbreaking, sexy, fearless and fun. 

Her films are also famed for being poetic and philosophical on the subjects of love and desire. Her range of facial expressions alone is joyful to watch and ability to own the screen is simply a pleasure to watch. 

Whether she is sad, happy, shocked or even random, Audrey can seamlessly connect with the audience at its very core. 

10. Happenstance (2000)

  ***A Wonderful Film On A Chaotic Plot***

"The Destiny Man: You see, every detail, every gesture, as slight as it may be, reveals an infinity of truths and thus has an endless repercussion and grandiose effects."

"Happenstance" story concerns a young woman, Irene (Audrey Tautou) who is told, by a fellow commuter on a train, that she will meet her true love on that day. This occurs in the first few minutes of the film. The clever irony at this point is that Irene doesn't realize that the young man opposite (Gilbert Robin) may be that 'one true love'. And, nor does he...

We get to see a different side of Audrey Tautou's spectrum than the naive, wide-eyed dreamer we're familiar with... Here, she's a bit cynical, certainly a realist, and at times, rather self-centered. Her eyes and head hang a little low, and the pixie we watched in Amelie practically disappear.

9. Hunting and Gathering (2007)

***Thoroughly Enjoyable, Hunting And Gathering***

"Love might be closer than you think." 

It begins in a quite French comedy way. It's the cleaning girl who lives under the roof, the extremely nerdy young Parisian aristocrat and the young soft macho chef aspirant. They come together and it could have been both entertaining and thought inspiring. The narrative is quite plain actually, with every conceivable development being very predictable. That means no quirky twists and turns for the sake of it, and it actually allows you to shift to lower gears to enjoy this outing.

This is a great romantic fable, hugely fun, and should appeal to anyone who wants a thoughtful yet enjoyable trip to the cinema.

8. Coco Before Chanel (2009) 

***Absorbing, Elegant And Powerful Work***

"Étienne Balsan: A woman who cuts her hair, is about to change her life."

"Coco Avant Chanel" presents a different set of problems for the reviewer. The performances are very well done, especially Andrey Tautou's performance in the lead role of Gabrielle Coco Chanel, the unorthodox and somewhat cold fashion designer whose uncompromising vision brought dramatic changes to women's fashion. The E original character didn't have the interesting ups and downs and emotional breakdowns to provide that depth but otherwise, this is a great, well-made biopic that can be appreciated by an audience far wider than those purely interested in Chanel, the brand or her legacy.

7. Beautiful Lies (2010)

***Quite Underrated, Refreshingly Heart Warming Film***

"Sometimes a little white lie can change everything."

Tautou plays Emilie , an owner of a beauty salon who receives a hand written love letter from a shy handyman. She dismisses the passionate letter at first, but when she realizes that her mother is still distraught over the betrayal of her father, she decides to resend the letter to cheer the upset woman up. What follows is a series of misunderstandings and an awkward love triangle involving a man caught between two women who are mother and daughter. As an outwardly harsh businesswoman plagued by loneliness, fear and insecurity, Tautou is excellent. Jean is buffeted around by lies in a way that's more bleak than funny.

6. He Loves Me... He Loves Me Not (2002)

***Immensely Likable, If You Are Crazy About Audrey***

"Every love story has two sides."

"Is she crazy in love, or just crazy?"

Audrey Tautou displays depth in her portrayal of a young woman who is struggling to keep her relationship with a married doctor. The first half of the movie is shown from her character's point of view. Then the director made an interesting choice as to cinematically "Rewind" the film to the beginning to show the movie from the perspective of the doctor.

Tautou does a brilliant job of using her cute reputation to surprise us she becomes more extreme and slowly wrecks her life. The film as a complete piece of work more than overcomes any such minor shortcomings. Take it for what it is and the film will reward, that's an enjoyable and sometimes shocking work, designed to entertain and engage in some vaguely thought-provoking levels.

5. Venus Beauty Institute (1999)

***A Fantastic Film With Simple Story And Performance***

"Angele: When you smile I find you handsome.

Jacques: That's because you know my soul."

This story revolves around the employees of a beauty shop in Paris. It's not quite an ensemble piece because there is a main character. Nathalie Baye plays a 40-year-old woman, Angele, who is going from one feeling to another. Angele doesn't believe in love anymore.  Audrey Tautou plays Marie, another worker at the salon, and she's a plain country girl who starts having an affair with a much older man. Mathilde Seigner plays Samantha, who is tough on the outside and has lots of boyfriends, but is hurting inside.

While the story is mainly a romantic comedy, there is some drama. The story does a good job of keeping the comedy and serious drama from running into conflict with each other. And unusual for a comedy, the story doesn't stray from plausibility for the sake of humor, but the comedy is still strong.

4. Priceless (2006)

***Ravishing, You Will Fall In Love With Audrey's Role***

Tautou Is living like a high profile gold digger looking for a rich person Marry and she is sleeping with any person for expensive gifts and Clothes. A waiter funnily falls in love with her and since he cannot Afford her lifestyle, he quits his job, finds a rich old woman Supporting him in exchange of being together with her. Audrey As Irene is charmingly sexy and beautiful. The chemistry between Tautou's character Irene and Elmaleh's Jean is perfect. They just go With each others flow and doesn't upstage one another. It is hugely Enjoyable and utterly charming.

3. Dirty Pretty Things (2002)  

  ***A Well Crafted Social Drama And Impressive Work From All***

"The Doctor: How come I've never seen you people before?

Okwe: Because we are the people you do not see. We are the ones who drive your cabs. We clean your rooms."

"Dirty Pretty Things", tells the story of Night Hotel manager Okwe. Showing how he unsuccessfully juggles working all day and night the film begins as a drama, but soon changes gears. A slow burning relationship with maid Senay, a Turkish immigrant, combines with a gruesome discovery of a human heart in the lavatory. It's not a thriller in the traditional sense. There are no big action or unrealistic twists. Instead, it uncovers a human tragedy that is more devastating and complex than most thrillers approach.

Audrey Tautou was surprisingly believable as a Muslim Turk. Although she has appeared in several films recently, she doesn't seem to have been burnt and probably avoided being typecast in her fabulous Amelie.

2. A Very Long Engagement (2004)

***Wonderful Cinematography And A Beautifully Portrayed Film***

"Narrator: Mathilde leans back against her chair, folds her hands in her lap, and looks at him. In the sweetness of the air, in the light of the garden, Mathilde looks at him. She looks at him... She looks at him..."

"A Very Long Engagement", a youthful and hopeless romantic played by Audrey Tautou who anxiously awaits the return of her fiance from war. Two years after the death notice arrived she maintains hope that her childhood sweetheart, Manech , disappearance. She encounters a myriad of wounded soldiers as well as the wives and lovers of Manech's comrades. As the mystery is alive. Mathilde sets out on a quest to unearth the details of her supposedly dead fiance's sudden unfolds the question is constantly restated, "Well is he alive or isn't he?"

Marked by beautiful cinematography and a poetic script, A Very Long Engagement is a finely crafted masterpiece. The movie has another Jeunet's feature: comedy. There good scenes with hilarious situations and as the same way he did in Amelie, he combined perfectly drama, intrigue and comedy. I recommend to everyone to watch this film and have a good time.

At the same moment, a sperm with one X chromosome, belonging to Raphaël Poulain, made a dash for an egg in his wife Amandine. Nine months later, Amelie Poulain was born."

Audrey Tautou is perfect as the angel faced Amelie who is a somewhat oddball and takes delight in the small things in life - putting her hand in a sack of grain or skimming stones on the water. She decides to turn people's lives for the better and ends up doing things such as matchmaking her colleague with a broken hearted stalker, punishing the nasty fruit and vegetable store owner for mistreating an employee and at the same time, falls in love with a guy who is almost as weird in her in terms of his pastimes.

Amelie is a wonderful movie. It is so refreshingly different from so many other French movies. Amelie barely speaks throughout the whole movie, and yet the viewer feels her every emotion and always knows exactly what she is thinking. She is quirky and fun, and this movie is great for anyone who has ever had trouble communicating with the outside world. It's just plain and simply great to watch and ponder on the fine and lovely world of Amelie.
