10 Celebrities Most Likely To Play A Superhero In The Near Furture

We are in an age of superheroes, and it seems like everyone who is anyone has played the role. But which actors really look the part and have the personality to leap tall buildings in a single bound? Some of the biggest actors in Hollywood have played superheroes. But which actors were likely to play the part from a young age?

10. Dave Franco

A string of high-profile TV work followed interspersed with appearances in some moderately successful movies, and he came to international prominence when he appeared as Eric Molson in the hit movie version of the cult TV series 21 Jump Street (2012).

Both Dave and his brother, James Franco, have played famous comic book characters from opposing companies. James played "Harry Osborn", best friend of Marvel Comics' "Peter Parker/Spider-man" and son of his arch nemesis, "The Green Goblin", in Sam Raimi's film trilogy.

Blake Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, has already played a superhero, and it seems like the role would be a natural for her. Like the other actors in this list, she also has a personality that seems sweet, but deep down you wouldn't want to be a villain fighting her.

The actor has the genes to play a superhero, literally. His brother Chris may be better known as Thor in the recent films. Liam Hemsworth is currently starring in The Hunger Games films, and while he never dons a cape, he works to protect the woman he loves. He has that hot, brooding air about him that makes him completely believable as a superhero.

7. Naomie Harris

To date, she is best known to American audiences for her role as Tia Dalma in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) and further international attention came her way when she was cast as Field Agent Eve in the twenty third James Bond film, Skyfall (2012). Naomie has all the features to be a female superhero.

6. Ryan Gosling

Gosling would make a perfect Cyclops for an X-men reboot because he is in his prime, good looking and has everything you would want in a leader. Like the others, Ryan Gosling also has the adorable personality and hot physique it takes to make fighting crime in a cape and cowl seem realistic and believable.
