The plot is about a couple, Annabel and Lucas, are faced with the challenge of raising Lucas' young nieces, who were found in a forest after being lost there for five years. It becomes apparent that the girls are being haunted by a ghostly woman they believe to be their mother.

"Carrie" is an upcoming supernatural horror film directed by Kimberly Peirce and based on Stephen King's 1974 novel of the same name. It is the third film , and a remake of Brian De Palma's 1976 film of the same name. It stars Chloë Grace Moretz as Carrie White, and Julianne Moore as her mother, Margaret White. Shailene Woodley turned down the role of Carrie, while Haley Bennett, Dakota Fanning, Emily Browning, Lily Collins and Bella Heathcote auditioned. The film will be the first co-production between MGM and Screen Gems.
