10 Most Anticipated Action Adventure Movies Of 2013

In 2013 will once again be filled with technically sound, sequels, Extra ordinary CGI work, reboots, remakes and films based on adventure novels . In action adventure genre, Robert Downey, Jr. Will reprise his role as billionaire Tony Stark and a technologically advanced superhero in Iron Man 3. 

With the talents of Christopher Nolan as a producer, Warner Bros. Pictures will try to reboot the famed Superman franchise for worldwide audiences again. The mythology-laced Thor, a Johnny Depp-led remake of The Lone Ranger, the second installment in The Hunger Games franchise, and Sam Raimi’s Oz: The Great And Powerful, Brad Pitt-starrer World War Z  Hugh Jackman in & as The Wolverine will likely be huge box office hits too.

Frank Baum's 1900 novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", and is a prequel to both the novel and the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. "127 Hours" James Franco appears as Oscar Diggs, he previously worked with Sami in the "Spider man Trilogy". The latest trailer looks visually astonishing  more like "Alice In Wonderland".

"The Wolverine" is an upcoming superhero film featuring a Marvel comic book character Wolverine and it's the sixth film in the X- Men film franchise, directed by James Mangold. Hugh Jackman returns as Logan "The Wolverine". Including his cameo in X-Men: First Class, this will be Jackman's sixth portrayal of Logan/Wolverine, breaking his own record. The initial promos, pictures and behind the scene videos looks stunning. There's plenty of actions to expect from this one.

 

7. G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013)

Cast: Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson and Ray Park.

"G. I. Joe: Retaliation" is a sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009). It's a complete action thriller movie directed by Jon Chu. This is Jon's first action movie after series of dance related movies. Bruce Willis appears as Joe Colton a.k.a G. I Joe and Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock. This film supposed to be released in 2012 due to the release of "The Dark Knight Rises" and other factors, had to postpone the release date to 2013.

 

6. The Lone Ranger (2013)

Cast: Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer and Tom Wilkinson.

Distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger. It's an action western adventure film directed by Gore Verbinski and, based on the American Old West character serials. The makeup/costume that Johnny Depp appears in the movie was inspired by Native American Artist Kirby Sattler's painting "I AM CROW". The epic scale and gun metal patina makes the film look visually stunning.
