Entertainment Weekly has just released a new character and theatrical poster for Marvel Studios' upcoming sequel Thor: The Dark World. The new posters shows a look at the Warriors Three, Sif, Heimdall, Odin, Loki, Malekith with Jane and Thor in the foreground. Check it out below and be sure to look closely to spot the members of the cast!

It stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins. Thor: The Dark World is scheduled to be released on November 8, 2013 in the United States.

Director of "Cube (1997)" & "Splice (2009)" Vincenzo Natali returns with a twisted and supernatural horror thriller film "Haunter", starring Abigail Breslin. It was produced by Copperheart Entertainment and written by Brian King. The film premiered at the 2013 South by Southwest Film Festival, and was picked up for U.S. distribution there by IFC Midnight. Haunter was filmed in Toronto and Brantford Ontario Canada.

Director David O. Russell’s follow-up to last year’s Silver Linings Playbook, the real-life drama/comedy American Hustle. Following the success of The Fighter (2010) and Silver Linings Playbook (2012), the director will head back into the heart of awards season with American Hustle. The story is based on an  undercover sting operation called “Abscam”, which was set up in the 1980s by a con artist working for the FBI who rooted out corruption in Congress..

Christian Bale stars as Irving Rosenfeld, a brilliant Bronx con-man, Amy Adams plays his lover/accomplice, Bradley Cooper plays an FBI agent, and Jennifer Lawrence is set as Bale’s “loose cannon of a Long Island housewife.”  Now the first official images from the pic have landed online, giving us a look at the fantastic ensemble’s early 80s get-up.  Hopefully a trailer is headed our way soon.  This is very much one to look forward to, folks.

It is scheduled to be shown in the main competition section of the 70th Venice International Film Festival and at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. If you haven't seen James Mangold’s "The Wolverine" film yet or planning to watch soon, and you don’t want to be spoiled, then stop reading and you can leave right now, because we’re going to highlight some of the major spoilers and plot details that you don’t want to know. Not only "The Wolverine" but all of this summer’s comic book movies that had a controversial twist, which divided comic book fans.

Earlier this summer, we saw "Iron Man 3" which included a controversial twist, or perhaps one of the major change from the traditional comic book storyline. While all the promotional trailers and posters for the film indicated that Ben Kingsley would be playing The Mandarin, Ben Kingsley was actually playing an actor named Trevor Slattery, who was hired to play The Mandarin. The Mandarin seems to divide audience members into two camps: Those who read Iron Man comics, and those who know the hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The former have been hoping to see The Mandarin on the big screen ever since Jon Favreau launched the franchise in 2008.

And just when it looked like Iron Man 3 might win the title of the most controversial comic book movie ever, along came the "Man Of Steel."  In order to stop Zod from killing an innocent family, Superman snapped Zod’s neck in one of the most shocking scenes ever in a comic book movie. Many comic book fans were outraged that Superman would break his code against killing, especially in such a graphically violent way. Other fans argued that Superman has killed in the past, and Zod left him with no other choice.

In keeping with this summer’s comic book movie tradition, The Wolverine also has a controversial twist that proves to be a major change from the traditional comic book storyline.

In the comic books, Kenuichio Harada is the villain behind Silver Samurai. However, in The Wolverine trailers, Silver Samurai looks more like a giant Japanese (like Real Steel one) robot than an actual person. Well, the good news is that Silver Samurai is not a robot, but the bad news is that the Silver Samurai is not Kenuichio Harada either. A last chance to turn away, because here comes a major spoiler for the movie.

In the big climactic fight scene, Logan chops off the head of the robotic Silver Samurai, revealing that Yashida is inside. Yashida who faked his death and extracts Logan's ability to heal and leaves Logan with bone claws, who eventually defeats Yashida. The changes to the Silver Samurai will be a bit harder to swallow for comic book fans. Of course, anytime a major character, whether villain or hero, is changed in a major way in a movie, it’s bound to stir just a little bit of controversy.

10. Van Helsing (2014)

"Van Helsing", the film is said to present a different sort of Van Helsing than the traditional one seen from Anthony Hopkins in or the revamped fantasy version Hugh Jackman portrayed in 2004’s Van Helsing. The reboot will present a more grounded and recognizable reality, in the same vein as Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight series. Tom Cruise is attached to star in this new take on the famous vampire hunter.

This is the second time Cruise is starring in a project involving vampires. The first, of course, being Neil Jordan’s Gothic classic "Interview with a Vampire," where he was on the other side of the teeth, so to speak, playing the vampire Lestat.

9. Dracula (2014)

"Dracula" is an upcoming vampire thriller film directed by Gary Shore and featuring Sarah Gadon, Dominic Cooper and Luke Evans (Immortals) stars as Dracula, a young prince who, in order to rescue his wife (Sarah Gadon) and daughter from the clutches of a murderous sultan, endangers his very soul, subsequently becoming the first vampire in the world has ever seen.

"The story is based on Bram Stoker’s legendary novel Dracula was adapted countless times into feature films. One of the most famous incarnations of the bloodsucking count was played by Bela Lugosi in the Universal’s 1931 version of Dracula. 8. Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters (2014)

7. The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2013)

"The Last Voyage of the Demeter" is directed by Neil Marshall, starring Viggo Mortensen, Ben Kingsley and Noomi Rapace. Ben Kingsley is on board the project and is set to play the Captain of the Demeter. Viggo Mortensen is currently in talks for the lead role of Henry Clemens, and Noomi Rapace is the main contender for the female lead, however this is dependent upon her schedule.

"The story centers on the terrible fate of the titular ship and its crew, which transports Count Dracula from Transylvania to England in the famed novel by Bram Stoker. Dracula’s devouring of crew members one by one should make for a thrilling take on the classic tale. Whilst numerous directors have been linked to the long-gestating project, British director Neil Marshall has now taken over directorial duties - hopefully for once and all."

Warner Bros. has announced that they plan to create a new version of the cult classic, about a teenage girl with super strength who discovers her purpose in life is to slay Vampires.

Joss Whedon's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", the original creator of the Buffy franchise is reported to be upset with the announced reboot, and has not been invited to have anything to do with the new film. Without Whedon’s witty script and quirky visual styles, we are curious to see what the new incarnation of Buffy will grace the big screen.

Based on Hasbro's G.I. Joe toy, comic and media franchises "G. I. Joe: Retaliation" is an American action thriller movie directed by Jon M. Chu. Starring Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson, with Channing Tatum, Arnold Vosloo, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, and Byung-Hun Lee reprises their roles from the first film. The G.I. 5. Foxcatcher (2013)

"Foxcatcher" is an upcoming drama film, directed by Bennett Miller, and starring Steve Carell, Mark Ruffalo, and Channing Tatum. The film is based on Olympic Wrestling Champion Mark Schultz's autobiography. The screenplay was written by E. Max Frye and Dan Futterman.  Channing Tatum plays Mark Schultz and he stated that the rule was "the hardest acting challenge I've had to date".

The erotic drama is based on Erica Jong’s novel Fear of Flying, which was a feminist hit in the 70s and is one of the 50 top bestselling novels of all time. Laurie Collyer, who is responsible for the critically acclaimed Sherrybaby, is directing Fear of Flying, while Nostradamus writer Piers Ashworth has penned the script.
