Exclusive: First Official Posters For Tom Hanks's "Captain Phillips"

From the director of "The Broune Ultimatum" Paul Greengrass and Tom Hanks's "Captain Phillips" two official posters have been revealed. "Captain Phillips" is an upcoming film directed by Paul Greengrass and starring Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks in the title role as Maersk Alabama captain Richard Phillips, who was taken hostage when his ship was captured by Somali pirates in 2009. The Maersk Alabama was the first U. S. -flagged ship hijacked since the 19th century. 

The film also has Catherine Keener as Andrea Phillips, Max Martini as SEAL Commander, Yul Vazquez as Frank Castellano and Chris Mulkey as John Cronan. It is scheduled to be released on October 11, 2013.

The film is directed by Oscar nominee Paul Greengrass, from a screenplay by Billy Ray and based upon the book, A Captain's Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALs, and Dangerous Days at Sea, by Richard Phillips with Stephan Talty.
