10 Most Anticipated Big Budget 3D Animation Films 2014


We have already seen the list of animated feature films releasing in 2013 and there is plenty more to look forward to the coming years. This list consists of Pixar, DreamWorks Animation, Walt Disney and Other Studio's 3D animated features coming out in 2014 and focuses primarily on animated films produced by the major Hollywood studios set for worldwide release. A sequel to DreamWorks animation adventure How to Train Your Dragon will be released in June. A month before, Disney’s Pixar Animation Studios will unspool The Good Dinosaur.

"The Nut Job" is an upcoming 3D computer animated comedy film starring Liam Neeson, Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fraser and Will Arnett, directed by Peter Lepeniotis. It is written by Lorne Cameron and Peter Lepeniotis. The film is based on the 2005 short animated film Surly Squirrel by Peter Lepeniotis. The story revolves around Surly, a curmudgeon, independent squirrel is banished from his park and forced to survive in the city. Lucky for him, he stumbles on the one thing that may be able to save his life, and the rest of park community, as they gear up for winter - Maury's Nut Store. A reboot of the original TMNT film series, the film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and stars Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher, and Will Arnett. The film was announced shortly before TMNT co-creator Peter Laird sold the rights to the franchise to Nickelodeon in 2009. DreamWorks Animation's "Happy Smekday!" is an upcoming 3D computer animated comedy film directed by Tim Johnson . It is based on the 2007 Adam Rex's children's book "The True Meaning of Smekday". Chris Jenkins and Suzanne Buirgy are the producers of the film, adapted by Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember. Jim Parsons and Rihanna are set to star in the lead roles of film, where "the galaxy's most annoyingly optimistic alien finds himself on the run from his own alien race", and is "forced to team up with a fiercely stubborn teenage girl.   1. Definitely...I hope this time we'll get to see a lot more unimaginable dragons. I really liked "Dragon" part in HTTYD... I think "The Good Dinosaur" will be another one to watch out for...
