Brad Pitt's Ten Most Astonishing And Top Rated Movies So Far

Brad Pitt is a well-known American actor and producer. His most widely recognized role may be the Achilles in "Troy" and as Tyler Durden in "Fight Club". He is amazingly talented and portrays character's with great precision. His specialty is his well-toned body language and the ability to change accent with each role he plays who can forget his role Mickey O'Neil in "Snatch" and Lt. Aldo Raine in "Inglourious Basterds". It's been pretty hard for me to filter out his top 10 movies cause he's given so many good movies.

1. Inglourious Basterds (2009)

***Brad Pitt's And Tarantino's Greatest Masterpiece***

"We're in the Nazi killin' business and cousin, business is a-boomin'."

"If You Need Heroes, Send In The Basterds"

"A basterd's work is never done."

"Inglourious Basterds" is certainly one of Quentin Tarantino's finest movies. He delivers on every aspect: story, acting, action, comedy, and drama. There are some excellent performances by MĂ©lanie Laurent and the soon to be Oscar nominated Christoph Waltz. The dialog in the movie, which has always been one of Tarantino's specialties, is as superbly written as it is delivered.

Brad Pitt wonderfully fits in to the role of a ruff N tuff Jewish American with his Accent whose only aim in life is KILLIN Nazis. His calm sense for humor . I don't think that he is over-provision . He is very good and he showed it in this movie . I think that this black comedies are his kind of movies . This is a movie worth seeing more than once.

2. Fight Club (1999)

***One Of The Most Remarkable Movie Ever Made***

"When you wake up in a different place at a different time, can you wake up as a different person?"

"How much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?"

"Fight Club" an aggressive, confrontational, often brutal satire that is quite possibly a brilliant masterpiece. You can not expect better star casts for starring roles. Both Edward and Brad Pitt were brilliant in their own starring roles. But its Brad Pitt who steals the show he is dynamic as Tyler Durden, an anarchistic man who lives in a run-down abandoned house and makes and sells soap for a living. Has there ever been a more memorable character than Brad Pitt as Tyler Durden? I doubt it..I really do...

With lot of twist and turns makes this very very special. Just watch this one, even if you Have seen it already.. Watch it again. Do No Harm!!

3. Se7en (1995)

***A Dark, Thrilling And Disturbing Masterpiece Ever Made***

"Detective Somerset is looking for a way out. Detective David Mills is looking for a way in. Now, they're caught in a game with a price of sin is death."

"Seven deadly sins. Seven ways to die."

" "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for." I believe the second part. "

"Se7en" is just one of those movies that gets deep under your skin and festers. Director David Fincher and screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker has created a bleak, desolate world where there are no real heroes, only sinners. An uncompromising story, filthy, grainy visuals and terrific performances make Se7en a modern classic . Brad Pitt's does a great job as David Mills who is a brash, hot-headed rookie cop who believes his big break lies in the murky, seedy unnamed metropolis. Amidst some cynicism,

However the best performance is from Kevin Spacey in the years before he became an Oscar lovie and stopped doing bad guys or dark characters. He is only on screen for a small portion of the film but his dialogue is superb and he delivers it faultlessly. In the scene where he shares a car ride with Mills and Somerset you literally hang on his every word. However alongside Spacey Fincher stands triumphant with his dark vision given the perfect story and perfect actors.

4. Troy (2004)

***Brad Pitt's One Of The Powerful And Unforgettable Performance***

"Is there no one else? Is there no one else?"

" Myrmidons! My brothers of the sword! I would rather fight beside you than any army of thousands! Let no man forget how menacing we are, we are lions! Do you know what's waiting beyond that beach? Immortality! Take it! It's yours! "

"Troy" is an epic and makes no bones about it. While there is effort and detail put into the characters, the scope's the thing, and retelling the greatest war story ever told demands no less. There really are a thousand ships in Agamemnon's fleet; the Greek army stretches to the horizon; Troy herself is a splendid ancient metropolis; and there is much talk of immortality, of the motivations of mankind, nobility, and honor. Troy takes itself seriously, but that's not always a bad thing, and necessary when you're trying to make a real movie as opposed to a mindless action piece.

The talent is undoubtedly brilliant. Brad Pitt stars as the great warrior Achilles and he makes a stunning performance of it, portraying the different emotions of the cool yet possibly disturbed warrior. He, of course, looks ideal for the part and his fighting scenes are the most impressive of the lot.

5. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)

***A Fascinating, Moving And Magical Movie***

"I was born under unusual circumstances".

"Life can only be understood backward. It must be lived forward."

"Life isn't measured in minutes, but in moments"

David Fincher's work is truly remarkable and unimaginable in every possible way. Undoubtedly One of the best director at present. "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"  is a film unlike any I've ever seen and probably ever will. A true epic that left me utterly speechless. It accomplished so much through such simplicity. Everything was top notch from the elegant directing to the subtly wonderful performances down to the magical score.

Brad Pitt was completely understated yet he commanded the part. His A quiet presence was much more affecting for me than many dramas Performances I've seen, and he aged completely believable.

6. Snatch (2000)

***Amazing , Brutally Funny And Stylish***

"Stealin' Stones and Breakin' Bones"

"Now you see it, now you don't!"

" Brick Top: Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an ..."

Guy Richie's follow up to "Lock Stock and Two Smoking barrels" is every bit as astonishing as its predecessor. The humor is better and mind blowing. Must pick out specific actors who were just over the top - meaning 10+!

Jason Statham as "Turkish" is simply superb - a star of very high caliber. (You should see him in anything he made, and read my comment about John Carpenter's movie: "Ghosts of Mars.")

Alan Ford as "Brick Top" is terrifying - his forced speaking style made me think that he was chewing on the flesh of his previous victim.

Vinnie Jones as "Bullet Tooth Tony" is total tough head to foot tough - a walking brick wall - a marine for all seasons - none tougher.

Brad Pitt as "Mickey O'Neil" is utterly 110% convincing. He is as solid an actor as ever came out of Hollywood... and better!

Good performances, fantastic characters, razor sharp dialogue, expert Direction and camera work and brilliant humor, Snatch will make you laugh More than any other movie. See it now.

7. Legends of the Fall (1994)

***A Wonderful. Emotional Melodrama***

"The men of the Ludlow family. A woman's grace brought them together. Then her passion tore them apart."

"After the Fall from Innocence the Legend begins."

"He was a rock they broke themselves against however much he tried to protect them"

"Legends of the Fall" is a marvelous film with incredible cinematography. Set in the beautiful northern Rockies, this tale will transport you back to a time when men were as wild as the mountains they loved, and just as untamed.

Brad Pitt delivers a Range of different motions not only convincing but authentically. In this movie he was rustic, yet thoughtful. He was strong and vulnerable. He had a great love for family(especially his father) and for a woman he knew should not be his. A perfect romantic tale for all. Must See.

8. Babel (2006)

***A Great And Unimaginable Visualization Of Lives***

"Tragedy is universal"

"A single gunshot heard around the world."

"Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mind-bog-gglingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God."

Babel may be a hard film to watch and understand, but its worth the effort to sit through it all. From my standpoint, the main theme running through the story is that physical distances do not necessarily isolate people from each other and our planet is truly a global community. In other words, the actions of one person and affect someone far away before you know it.

Brad Pitt's performance appeared very heart-wrenching and thus phenomenal to me. Not to forget the performances of those two Islamic Moroccan kids. Finally, it is one of those rare movies which can put one into a trance or a reverie, even after the credit gets rolled. One of the reasons for that is the soundtrack 'Endless Flight'. It's a privilege watching this sort of movies.

9. Ocean's Eleven (2001)

***One Of The Most Entertaining Movie***

"Are You In Or Out?"

"3 Casinos. 11 Guys. 150 Million Bucks. Ready To Win Big?"

"Ocean's Eleven" is one big bunch of big name all around. It is refreshing to sit and watch a film such as this and not have to suffer the usual barrage of swearing and violence. The lack of such profanities only increases its wide appeal. It just goes to show that it can be done and That film does not necessarily need it.

Ocean's Eleven is not your typical heist movie. To start with there are eleven people working together all with specific, indispensable jobs to do. Yet the mood is still light hearted which makes it even more compelling watch. The inspired direction and flowing script assure that there is never a dull moment and that every scene is important, as is every character. With lots of twists n turns every now and then makes this movie worth watching twice...thrice..

10. Moneyball (2011)

 ***Intriguing, Exciting And Well-Performed***

 "What Are You Really Worth?"

"Moneyball", i thought the movie was quite great. The storyline is intriguing to say the least and though a lot of people already know the plot the movie made it come to life. The cast was great and specifically Jonah Hill, who usually does a great job in comedies, should get nominated for best supporting actor in it. It is nice to see him make a switch to a non-comedic role and I am sure this will greatly help his acting career. Brad Pitt's performance was a real treat to watch with flawless acting.
