New Restricted Red Band Trailer For Horror Film "Curse of Chucky"

A brand new restricted Red Band trailer for the sixth installment of the "Child's Play" franchise, Curse of Chucky, is popped online and can be watched below. The film was written and directed by Don Mancini, who created the franchise and has written all sequels to date.

 It is currently set for an October 8, 2013 release. Brad Dourif has been cast to reprise his voice role of Chucky, which will feature his daughter, Fiona Dourif. The film has been rated R by the MPAA for bloody horror violence, and for language.

Official Synopsis:

"Nica (Fiona Dourif) is grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in town to help settle their mother’s affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica’s plans for the future, Barb’s young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she does not know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He is determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he is going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end."
