Hugh Grant As The Head Of The British Naval In "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."

Cloud Atlas (2012) and Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) star Hugh Grant has signed on for a supporting role in Guy Ritchie's spy-thriller film "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.", joining youngsters Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Debicki. Co-written and produced by Ritchie and Lionel Wigram, the movie is based on the cult TV spy series. Henry Cavill is taking the role of Napoleon Solo, with Hammer as his wingman Illya Kuryakin, while Grant will play the head of the British Naval Intelligence. As for the women, "The Great Gatsby" actress Elizabeth Debicki is set to play another female role.

Hugh Grant most recently worked in The Wachowskis' new age epic "Cloud Atlas" and 2009's already forgotten and poorly reviewed "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" and voiced The Pirates! Band of Misfits. He's currently working on a rom-com shooting that teams him with Marisa Tomei and will see release next year, and now he's jumping on board another unlikely big budget production.
