Bryan Singer Tweets A New Image And Shooting Quicksilver Scenes At 3,600 FPS


"X-Men: Days Of Future Past" director Bryan Singer is back on Twitter today with another new set image that should excite cinematography fans. He also revealed that Quicksilver's (Evan Peters) scenes, which are being shot at 3,600 frames per second. 3,600 FPS is 150 times slower than common film (so Quicksilver moves up to 150 times as fast as most), and significantly brighter set pieces are needed for each frame. Although it's hard to see exactly what he's filming, you can check the basic setup in Singer's image below.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore. The film is set to hit theaters May 23rd, 2014.
