Here's the first trailer for Palme d’Or winner (at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival) "Blue Is the Warmest Color," a French drama film written, produced, and directed by Abdellatif Kechiche. Starring Adèle Exarchopoulos as Adèle, Léa Seydoux as Emma and Jérémie Laheurte as Thomas. Set to arrive on October 25th in the U.S., there’s been some controversy surrounding the fact that Abdellatif Kechiche‘s drama won’t be up for Oscars due to the French release date.

"Kechiche’s direction is subdued yet penetrating, and it seems near-impossible not to be moved by both the joy and pain in Adele’s experience. Affecting and powerful in its portrayal of love, Blue is the Warmest Color is an epic ode to the enduring affection which overwhelms when we find that special someone." - TheFilmStage
