20th Century Fox Revealed New Images For Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

20th Century Fox has revealed an online prequel comic that will bridge the gap between 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes and next summer's "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." No word on if this will stay as an online comic or whether it will be published in a physical format at a later date, but you can visit the website at Apes2014.com and see the pages yourself, or check out a few of them below.

Directed by Matt Reeves and starring Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, and Keri Russell. It is the sequel to the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes and is scheduled for release July 18, 2014.

Official Synopsis:

"In the film, a growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species."
