There are so many inspirational drama movies out there, its quite hard to pick up top 10 inspirational movies. That's why i choose to post another set of top 10 movies which are as good as it gets. Each of these movies are great and inspiring in it's own way.

1. Gandhi (1982)

***An Exceptional Movie About An Exceptional Man***

"His Triumph Changed The World Forever."

"A WORLD EVENT It took one remarkable man to defeat the British Empire and free a nation of 350 million people. His goal was freedom for India. His strategy was peace. His weapon was his humanity."

GANDHI: " My life is my message". " I have nothing new to teach this world, truth and non- violence are as old as hills".

"Gandhi" is truly a movie of a lifetime. A large share of  the credit goes to the director who has spent so much time on shaping up this Bio-Epic-masterpiece. It is a movie that won the Best Picture Oscar in 1982. It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Oscar-winner,  Ben Kingsley is in his perfect role as Mohandas K. "Mahatma" Gandhi, who was originally an attorney or lawyer, and then he became an Indian political leader, who was into non-violent beliefs. Candice Bergen is very good, in her role, as Margaret Bourke-White, a Life magazine American photographer. Martin Sheen is also very good, in his supporting role, as Vince Walker, an American reporter of the New York Times. Richard Attenborough did an excellent job directing this film, and that's why he won the Best Director Oscar.

2. 3 Idiots (2009)

***By Far The Best Bollywood Movie Of The Decade***

"Aal Izz Well"

This movie is no different from other Bollywood movies except it has very strong storyline and message for all ages. 4. Saving Private Ryan (1998)

***Steven Spielberg's One Of The Best War Movie Ever***

"In the Last Great Invasion of the Last Great War, The Greatest Danger for Eight Men was Saving... One."

"There was only one man left in the family, and the mission was to save him."

Saving Private Ryan is a top World War II Movie I've seen. As the film starts we are presented with a hundred or so ships coming across the sea. Suddenly violence erupts and soldiers are slaughtered on the D-Day Assault. In the assault, Captain Miller (Tom Hanks) leads his platoon up and around the German lines for a flank attack.

Across the ocean, a mother receives three KIA letters in the same day but is promised that her youngest son, Private Ryan (Matt Damon) will be found in France and sent home. On the Normandy beach, Captain Miller and his platoon will be sent on a suicide mission across France to find Private Ryan and battle across the German lines. Through the whole mission the soldiers are pushed to the limit with the death of comrades and questioning of the mission. Must Watch!!

5. The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

 ***Great Performances, An Inspiring Story***

"Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you gotta protect it. When people can’t do something themselves, they’re gonna tell you that you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period."

This is a good, uplifting Movie. Great acting and has a great message. This will be a good family movie and has it's father-son moments. Chris Gardner is a struggling salesmen trying just to make the rent, buy food, and take the best care of his son that he possibly can. When his wife leaves him and his son to go get a better life, Chris is left on his own, but he wins an internship at a stocks broker company that is very competitive. Against incredible odds, he just pulls through the ultimate lows of life and keeps his head up with his son by his side. They become homeless, living in hotels, homeless shelters, and even a cruddy subway bathroom! But Chris holds on to his ultimate dream being happy and giving him and his son the life they truly deserve.

Will Smith is a great actor, now taking serious roles. His acting, along with Thandie Newton and Jaden Smith, were great. This film is based on a true story by the life of Chris Garner who struggles with And his life is now a multimillionaire.

6. No Man's Land (2001)

***A Comic-Drama About The Eternal Tragedy OF War***

"Leaves No Stone Unturned. Except One."

No Man's Land is a totally different war movie compared to other war movies i have seen so far.  The story is centered around three soldiers, one serb and two bosnians, who get caught up together in a trench in no man's land between the two fighting sides. To complicate matters, one of the bosnian soldiers is lying on top of a bouncing mine and cannot be moved without it exploding.

A well put together script, a strong cast, and beautiful direction. "No Man's Land" should be a reminder for us all that war is not the answer. Nor hate, for that matter.

7. A Beautiful Mind (2001)

***A Beautifully Written, Acted And Crafted Movie***

"The Only Thing Greater Than the Power of the Mind is the Courage of the Heart."

"He Saw The World In A Way No One Could Have Imagined."

A beautiful movie all the way. John Nash is something of a mathematical wizard. Constantly searching for something with which to make his name, he finds his calling by code breaking for the government. But with that comes a sense of paranoia and pretty soon John is sliding desperately into schizophrenia.

I loved this movie and recommend it to anyone, young, old... It's just a great experience.

8. The King's Speech (2010)

***A Touching, Historical Drama Of Courage And Humanity***

"When God couldn't save The King, The Queen turned to someone who could."

"It takes leadership to confront a nation's fear. It takes friendship to conquer your own."

The story gives us a fascinating look into the struggles faced by George VI on his way to becoming king of England. The story line is all about his stuttering, but underneath all that are suppressed memories from childhood, growing up in the shadow of an elder brother, perpetual negative reinforcement from a domineering father, etc. It's a psychoanalytical look at a well-known royal family, and while I can't vouch for its absolute veracity, it gives a rare glimpse into the lives of people we wouldn't otherwise observe at this level of intimacy (much like "Queen" did a few years ago).

9. Seven Pounds (2008)

***Magnificent, Moving And Simply Beautiful***

"Seven Names. Seven Strangers. One Secret."

Seven Pounds follows the story of Ben Thomas, an IRS agent on a mission to redeem himself from a haunting secret. We follow him on his mission to seek out seven strangers in desperate need of help. Ben's plans are complicated when he meets and falls in love with Emily (Rosario Dawson), a young woman with a terminal heart condition. Italian director Gabriele Muccino brilliantly pieces together a tragic modern day Shakespearean love story, weaving between the present day and glimpses into the dark past. Seven Pounds is not a kick back and zone out film, you have to work as an audience member to put all the pieces together. The more you allow your mind to work in this film, the more you will get out of it.

10. Warrior (2011)

***One Of The Best Sport-Drama Movie***

"Family is worth fighting for."

Tom Hardy's one of the finest performance and very inspiring plot. "Warrior" has a gritty atmosphere that is all about character and adversity. O'Connor seamlessly captures this in the simple camera shots and intimate dialog. He generates amazing performances. Edgerton is the delicate balance of compassion and focus. His Brendan is a good and decent man. Hardy has an electrifying enigmatic presence. He provokes a painful sadness and rage in Tommy, for whom honor and family are everything. Nick Nolte poignantly plays their broken father, who is pivotal in the redemption of his sons. Ultimately, "Warrior" is about forgiveness and love. It is one of the year's best.
