The Most Anticipated Movies Of 2012 - September To December

In 2012, we had chance to watch some unbelievable and astonishing movies till now. Especially "The Avengers" and "The Dark Knight Rises" which has been a big success to their respective franchise and able to cross $1 Billion mark. Animated Movies like "Ice Age: Continental Drift" , "Brave", "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" were quite good. "Ted" is one movie i liked a lot in comedy genre and looking forward to its DVD.  In coming months we can expect some big budget, big star casts and big movie franchise releases. Lets see top 10 most anticipated movies of 2012.




1. Skyfall (2012)

Cast: Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe.




A big old 007 franchise which has given 22 James bond movies before this one. This is Daniel Craig's third movie as 007 agent and he also doing next James bond movie "Bond 24" after "Skyfall". Both previous movies "Casino Royale" and "Quantum Of Solace" were very good and did excellent job. "Skyfall" has huge expectation just like any other
007 movies or may be more. We could look forward to some breathtaking stunts and action sequences from this one too. The inclusion of Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem makes this whole movie much more exciting especially Bardem's as one of the villains.




2. Django Unchained (2012)

DiCaprio"Django Unchained" is a remake of "Django (1966)". I have been a big fan of Tarantino's work ever since i saw his set of movies from "Reservoir Dogs" to "Inglorious Bastards". A great story teller, a great screenplay writer and most importantly a great director. His movies always had that classic-western touch with mind blowing soundtracks and cinematography. I expect nothing less from this one. Its going to be a real feast.




3. Lincoln (2012)

"Lincoln" is an upcoming movie about Abraham Lincoln from legendary director Steven Spielberg and much awaited movie of the year. Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Lincoln's son. We can expect one of the finest Biographical Drama.



4. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" from the director of "The Lord Of The Ring's Trilogy" Peter Jackson. Its going to be journey of a life time. "The Lord Of The Ring's Trilogy" which won 17 Oscar awards. "The Hobbit" will be another trilogy and it would be back to back release just like "The Lord Of Ring's Trilogy". Its going to be one big adventurous experience for all.




5. Taken 2 (2012)

"Taken 2" is an upcoming action-thriller movie and the sequel of "Taken" which released in 2008. " Personally i really did not have much expectation from "Taken 1"  but it  literally took me by surprise . The plot was good, Liam Neeson was fab and very fast paced screenplay and camera made it one of the best in 2008. It could be another action- entertainer from "Transporter 3" director.



6. Cloud Atlas (2012)

Just recently i watched "Cloud Atlas" trailer and read its storyline which was quite different. "Cloud Atlas" is from creators of "The Matrix" and "Run Lola Run" director Tom Tykwer. It was adapted from 2004 Novel of same name. Its expected to be one epic adventure-drama with some big name in starring roles.



7. Looper (2012)

Cast: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt





"Looper" is an upcoming Sci-fi action thriller with time travel story. Its quite fascinating story and fine star cast of Levitt and Willis. It would be Levitt's first complete action flick after "Inception" and "The Dark Knight Rise" which had mild action scenes for him.





8. Les Misérables (2012)

"Les Misérables" is another much awaited classic drama from Academy Award Winner Director Tom Hooper. "The Kings Speech" was his best work and an excellent movie. After watching "Les Misérables" initial trailer i am quite sure that it's going to an emotional drama and a piece for Oscar. 




9. Killing Them Softly (2012)

"House at the End of the Street" is an upcoming horror-thriller movie starring Jennifer Lawrence. Personally i am not a big fan of American horror movies but still i will watch it for Lawrence. I will let you know if it's really scary..
